What’s this in the ski parking lot, so sport utility with its 6 inches of ground clearance and short overhangs.

In go the XC skis. Front seat back far enough for my 6’2” wife to sit comfortably and not hit her; thanks in part to the little strap there.

So cold it’s slow. It was under 0 which my skis just don’t glide well in.
